Blossoming Almond Tree Is It Too Late To Prune An Apple Tree?

Is it too late to prune an apple tree? - blossoming almond tree

The owner of the house is not landscaping or plants, not to mention cutting the trees. I noticed almonds and left. Is it too late for this season to prune apple? Flower usually in late March here.

Each climate zone is a little different. If the tree was dormant, you should be fine. Best way is to check your local "County Extension Agent Call / agency. This is a government. special institution for agricultural information to the public offer on the basis of the place. He / she is an expert on the best time to prune, fertilize the worst pests and healthy ways to combat it, the best performing varieties for your site, etc.. You pay for this service. Use it. CTFR

I live in northern Michigan, and the whole morning to prune fruit trees. Some weeks I have come too late, but in winter is the time to germinate. The tree is still dormant and it is time to cut, too. I was late because I go on snow depth of 3 meters, but if I did not now it is too late.

as long as you are before the flowers should not be a problem, the sooner the better
